Orphans in the Ukraine have a very hard time integrating in society, they mostly lack someone who teaches them basic skills needed to integrate in mainstream society. The project covers lessons in personal hygiene, cooking but also lessons in money matters and paperwork and forming personal relationships, overcoming their trauma. The children/young people concerned either live in a family foster home or they visit the programs once or twice a week. Help orphaned children in Ukraine prepare themselves for living outside the constraints of institutional care and war.

Fresh food produce is in short supply in war torn countries like Ukraine where food is worryingly scarce. Combine this with extreme poverty and it becomes clear how difficult it becomes for children to receive healthy meals and proper nutrition. Improve the diet of a child by providing them with fresh meat and vegetables. Healthy food is often sacrificed in families where there is little money for food.
